Original WW2 German Concentration Camp Letter - Dutch prisoner in Konzentrationslager Weimar Buchenwald (1944 1945)
Pieter van den Berg was born in Velsen in 1923, and he lived in Bloemendaal during the war. In 1944 he arrived in the Concentration camp Buchenwald after being transported from Concentration Camp Amersfoort. Before that, he was in the Sicherheitspolizei prison in The Hague. This set consists of three letter written by him and two documents from his way back home. One Red Cross letter to his family written from Enschede that he is coming home soon, and one permit of return stamped in Dalfsen.
